The Lucas survey, launched by Eurostat as a pilot programme in 2001 and planned again for 2003, overlaps with the French system of land use studies, the annual Teruti survey.
The Lucas survey, launched by Eurostat as a pilot programme in 2001 and planned again for 2003, overlaps with the French system of land use studies, the annual Teruti survey. With many similarities with Teruti, but nevertheless slightly different, Lucas includes changes that are already planned for Teruti, as well as several innovations. If the Lucas project is continued, the French system will be obliged to adopt these changes.
